English to Russian translations [PRO] Bus/Financial
English term or phrase:offtakers vs sellers
The deal concerns multi-party delivery of goods. The Seller delivers the goods to an offtaker who makes further deliveries to end-buyers. In the first case the offtaker is actually a buyer but he can't be translated as "pokupatel" since he is not the one. Neither can it be translated as "posrednik". Any good ideas?
Explanation: Bearing in mind that an "offtake" is a certain number of sold goods (the only reference in my financial dictionary) "an offtaker" is a company accepting such shipments they are capable to sell to end-users. So it resembles a wholesaler. If you have any more details on the context, I'll try to serach for other versions.
