Russian translation:перекрестные помехи (перекрестные наводки)
Explanation:
"Crosstalk The unwanted coupling of signals between different pairs in a cable. "
http://www.wavecor.co.uk/gloss.htm

Term: Channel crosstalk
Definition: Channel crosstalk or simply “crosstalk” refers to signals that leak from one signal path or channel to another.
Explanation: In a polarimetric radar with H and V channels, crosstalk refers to signals that leak from the H-pol signal path to the V-pol signal path (and from V to H). This can occur on both transmission and reception, and happens mainly in the antenna and switches. Some propagating media can introduce apparent crosstalk, as in the case of Faraday rotation.

Crosstalk is undesirable in polarimetric radar systems, as it can lead to misleading results in data analysis. A current design goal of SAR systems is to keep the channel crosstalk below –35 dB. If crosstalk exists in recorded data, calibration methods can be used to remove its effects.
