Вряд ли первое "draws" имеет другой смысл - было бы уж очень нелогично. Да и в приведенной Вами дополнительной информации встречается "draws", которое опять же означает прорисовку.

Что же касается "collects", то, возможно, имеется в виду возможность сбора [и регистрации (т.е. записи) собранной] информации.

С другой стороны, может быть лучше было бы перевести так, как перевели на французский (capturer), т.е. от слова "capture" ~ "сбор данных и построение огибающей эхо-сигнала".
