The MSD (Hydrotreater, Section 10.2) considers the reactor shell and heads as 2.25Cr + 1Mo + 4.5mm 347 ***w/o*** and the internals, 321SS/347SS. However, the Equipment list (hydrotreater, section11) states a different corrosion allowance for the shell and heads, 3mm 321/347 ***w/o***.

XXX considers that the material specification of the reactor shells and heads should be 2 ¼ Cr – 1Mo (3mm min) 347 SS ***w/o***. And the internals, 321SS /347SS.
