English term or phrase: Government Assisted Loans

disagree  Dorene Cornwell: Sure, if it's the right translation. These are NOT loans from the government just loans with some kind of government support, say a government guarantee of repayment or an interest rate subsidy

-> it's the same. See Russian economics. The term "Government assisted loan" doesn't exist here. They say "правительственный (или государственный) заем/займ".

У нас есть Federal Assisted Loans, а есть State Assisted Loans.

ssuda s gosgarantiej

Explanation:
"ssuda s gosgarantiej", kredit s gosgarantiej" - I believe "gos." is simply shorter than 'pravitelstevnnij'..

" Pravitelstvennij zaiem " does not seem right to me, as it means that government provides loans, which is not true - government is simply supporting, say, the bank loans.
You may type: "government assisted loan" for Google - there is a related LaSalle site there with Bank providing gov.asisted loans to small businesses.
