I'm looking for a good translation for the term ethnorelative, which in my context is given as the opposite of ethnocentric. I will appreciate all ideas and input. Thank you.

Some defitions to get you started

ETHNOCENTRIC (or ETHNOCENTRISM) – The natural tendency to look at the world primarily from the perspective of one’s own culture and to evaluate all other groups from that viewpoint. People tend to use their own verbal and non-verbal codes, their own assumptions and rules to evaluate others. Many claim that ethnocentrism occurs in every society; ironically, ethnocentrism may be something that all cultures have in common.

ETHNORELATIVE – Characterizes the developmental stage in which one no longer views their own culture as a center from which others should be judged, but rather as a state of mind in which cultures are respected, compared, and contrasted according to the values and perspective of the cultures involved.

этнорелятивный


Explanation:
Лучше переводить имя существительное: этнорелятивизм. Этнорелятивистский - хорошо звучит, но означает ethnorelativistic. Требуется осторожность в работе со всеми этими терминами. В каждом свой нюанс. Этнотолерантный - это совсем другое.

этнически-условный, этническая условность


Explanation:
как понимаю, здесь противоположность, для тех, кто на этом конЦЕНТРирует свое внимание, для кого это в ЦЕНТРЕ, иными словами - для кого это абсолютная точка отсчета.

Антоним абсолютного - относительный, но также есть и другой антоним (из другой плоскости) - это условный.
Для ethnorelative-человека этнос - это условность.

  -> возможно, я неправильно понял значение оригинального термина. Но есть же космополиты, для которых все люди братья, а этнические различия - чужды. Если такие не учтены в термине,почему разделение только на ethnorelative и ethnocentric? Космополитов - куда?

Это если прилагательное, а если существительное, то этническая относительность.

"Теория этноцентризма У. Самнера. Этническая относительность как противоположность этноцентризма признает равноправие ценностей и культур различных этносов."

Если латинские корни удобнее, то нужно прилагательное "этнорелятивистский", как здесь:
