There are some words in Russian that are applied the same way to both masc. & fem. genders, and the word "friend/droog" is 1 of them, so when a guy tells a girl something like "you are my best friend", the sentence "ты мой самый лучший друг" (you are my best friend/ty moi samiy luchshiy droog) sounds just perfect, even though generally, the ending is of a masc. gender. |
