English to Russian translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase: Pancake Roll, Spring Roll
These are menu items. The dictionary gives for both "blinchik s nachinkoy". Is there a Russian equivalent for each of the items?

Russian translation:oladji i kitayskie blinchiki
Explanation:
Spring Roll is Chinese food. So it can't be translated as blinchiki s nachinkoj (blinchiki is a typical Russian dish). My suggestion is "kitayskie blinchiki". (but never blinchiki po-kitayski!).As for the stuffing, it's not "spring vegetables" or so, but rice noodles and soy shoots.

Pancake Roll can be "oladji"

I partially agree with ''kitayskie blinchiki'': the explanation is correct, they really are stuffed with soy shoots and this kind of stuff. The only thing I am worried is whether this is the only kind of 'blinchiki', that exists in chinese cuisine. What if they have more, so how the Russian speaking person would know the difference between all sorts of 'kitayskie blinchiki'? :):) I know, for instance, that this expression is used in Spanish literally as 'blinchiki Vesna'. Could we put something like 'farshirovanniye kitayskie blinchiki' or 'kitayskie blinchiki Vesna'? Regarding pancake roll, I would say it's ''sviornutiy v trubochku nalistnik''. At least this is what can be usually seen in Irish supermarkets.

Explanation:
Pancake Roll - по-моему все-таки рулет с начинкой. Only "pancake" = оладья или блин, причем разниза только в размерах - оладья меньше блинна/блинчика.
Spring Roll - также рулет с начинкой, но в контексте его наименования "Весенний рулет" предполагается, что начинка изготовлена из продуктов, которые появляются весной /свежие овощи, лук, фрукты и.т.д./.
