If a vessel on which an officer serves is ordered to an area which is considered a High Risk Zone as defined by the UK Chamber of Shipping Warlike Operations Area Committee. (WOAC) the officer will receive while passing through this specific zone a bonus of 100% of their basic wage plus leave pay for the period, calculated in half day increments.
