фонарь Explanation: (sic!) usually canopy is a name for a glass cover for pilot's cockpit. it is called ФОНАРЬ in Russian. It is most likely used in military aviation, since small military planes (such as fighters or attack planes) have canopies and large planes (bombers, passenger jets etc) have windshields. |
