Explanation: Оборудование для газового анализа или сам анализ, который называется ОРСАТ-анализ.
Предполагаю что это, имея ввиду ваше предположение.
Orsat Gas Analyzer
The gas produced by an anaerobic sludge digester consists primarily of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Methane concentrations below 60% may indicate operational problems, and may also not burn well as a fuel. If there is a significant oxygen (O2) concentration, there may be air leaks in the digester. Besides being toxic to the anaerobic bacteria, oxygen forms an explosive mixture with methane in certain proportions. The Orsat analyzer shown here measures CO2 and O2 by the decrease in gas volume when they are absorbed into solutions of chemicals with which they react.
А вот и еще объяснение - суть ОРСАТ-анализа
Analysis of CO2 and O2 in Flue Gas is normally done through Orsat Analysis. The normal preocedure in our place is to collect the sample through vaccum pump into rubber bladder. After 5 ~10 minutes( ie time taken from Chimney to reach the Lab)the gas contents are transferrred into the bottle of apparatus for analysis.I would like to know wether the analyses obtained through this method is on dry basis or wet basis.Since the gas is directly drawn out from chimney and gets cooled to room temp in the Lab, contained moisture gets partly condensed out and some remains in vapour phase giving wet basis.Even if it is bubbled through conc H2SO4 before collecting into bladder, completely dry gas thus obtained will get saturated with water vapour giving results which may be on neither dry or wet basis.Correction factor can be provided to compensate but is this normal.
