Bus/Financial - Law (general) / power of attorney
English term or phrase: indemnify
Ide o preklad splnomocnenia, v ktorom firma udeluje neobmedzenu plnu moc advokatskej kancelarii pre vsetky ukony spojene s pravnym zastupovanim, obchodnou cinnostou ci investiciami danej spolocnosti.

Veta v zavere textu splnomocnenia znie:
The Company's attorney undertakes to indemnify the Directors in respect of all cost, charges, expenses and damages which he may sustain in relation thereto.

Logicky mi to nedava zmysel: Splnomocnenec (t.j. pravnicka kancelaria) ma splnomocnitelovi (t.j. firme/jej konatelom) kompenzovat vsetky vydavky, poplatky a skody ktore mozu vyplynut z vykonu splnomocnenia??? On utrpi ujmu resp. znasa nejake naklady, a ma za to odskodnit splnomocnujucu firmu???

Budem vdacny za akykolvek logicky navrh na interpretaciu. Moze to znamenat napr. ze splnomocnenec nema narok na odskodnenie zo strany splnomocnitela?
