English to Spanish translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Accounting / INVOICE
English term or phrase:Cell and SLPN1
I'm translating an invoice for the sale (export) of furniture and these are names of fields that need to be filled with certain information when completing the invoice. The content in the CELL field is "19ADD", and the content of the "SLPN1" field is "92340 South America".
In case some context helps, some other fields in the invoice to be completed are: Customer PO, Request Date, Tax Exempt No., Order Type, Invoice Date, and there are also SLPN2 and SLPN3....
I'm really lost with both terms...... any ideas?
There are times such as these that a translator is not required to be a mind-reader and you should ask your client to provide you with a glossary of some kind or explain the term themselves. You are not meant to be a magician! However, I am not sure if relevant in your context, but here is a link that supports the idea that SLPN1, 2, etc. may means "Salesperson" ("So, I fired up the Salesperson (SLPN) screen and added the new salesperson .... www.made2mentor.com/ - En caché - Similares). HTH!
