Hola. Creo que ese "long" es un problema, ¿qué tal "demasiado" como opción? Se me ocurre todo esto: lo de arriba y "exagerar a la hora de recordar los placeres..." o "darle demasiadas vueltas al recuerdo de...". Si lo quieres un poco más chabacano, entonces: "comerse demasiado el coco sobre...".
