posterior a la torre de marfil


Explanation:
Me parece que lo que *pretende* el autor es contraponer la cultura pasada de la torre de marfil (la "burbuja" entendida como el aislamiento endiosado, la cultura del ídolo inalcanzable quizá) a la cultura actual del populismo (o pretendido acercamiento a las masas).

Arriesgado, pero es lo que he entendido, y "burbuja" en español no tiene la misma connotación expresiva de aislamiento que "torre de marfil".
