English term or phrase: It is the verses to the poem I last posed!
There is a mystery in human hearts
And though we be encircled by a host
Of those who love us well and are beloved,
to every one of us, from time to time,
There comes a sense of utter loneliness.
Our dearest friend is "stranger" to our joy,
And cannot realize our bitterness.

Hi Reid!

Below you'll find your poem I translated. Just to be sure, I first had it edited by a friend who is a translator..and a poet..and a native Spanish speaker.

"Un misterio anida en el corazón humano
Y aunque estemos rodeados por una multitud
de aquellos que nos quieren bien y a quienes amamos,

a cada uno de nosotros nos llega, de vez en vez,
una sensación de completa soledad.
Nuestro amigo más allegado "es extraño" a nuestro júbilo,

Y nuestra amargura le resulta insondable"

I hope you like it:-)
Regards...

Thankyou so much for this. Thankyou for spending your time helping me. This is a short clip from my friends favorite poem. And she is interested in the spanish language, so I thought it would fit to translate it. Thankyou so much again, I really appreciate this!
