Rock lyrics review (on Iggy Pop):"...And besides, who else could sing "Where is the love?" (as he does on "Mask") without sounding like a wuss?"
I cannot find any reference of this word, except in console games, but that's not the case.
Thanks!!

I know the answer has already been chosen, but.....

Explanation:
...you should know that it is NOT correct. See the following reference:

WUSS
Wuss is slang for a wimp.

WIMP
Wimp is slang for a feeble or ineffectual person. (http://www.probertencyclopaedia.com/ZW.HTM)

The translation given in Collins (2000 version) for "wimp" is "ñoño", and it does fit your context.

D.R.A.E.
1. adj. fam. Dícese de la persona sumamente apocada y de corto ingenio.
2. Dicho de las cosas, soso, de poca sustancia.

Hope it helps.
