Explanation:
Me da la sensación de que se refiere a dar golpecitos, "tapping", pero siendo un título de un libro el tema del mismo puede tener que ver, o no.
También puede ser "rozando el carbón"...
En realidad habría muchas formas de decirlo, siempre que se le de el sentido de "un toque ligero".
