English term or phrase: (please see "context" box)
I tried to submit this phrase earlier this afternoon, but unfortunately the entire thing did not go through. This comes from "The Handsomest Drowned Man In The World" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Here is the complete phrase that I would like translated:

LOOK THERE, WHERE THE WIND IS SO PEACEFUL NOW THAT IT'S GONE TO SLEEP BENEATH THE BEDS, OVER THERE, WHERE THE SUN'S SO BRIGHT THAT THE SUNFLOWERS DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN, YES, OVER THERE, THAT'S ESTEBAN'S VILLAGE.

Thank you for all who responded to the other request. Would you mind trying this again? Thanks a million.
Brigid
Spanish translation:... miren allá, ...
Explanation:
"(... y el capitán.. dijera en catorce idiomas), miren allá, donde el viento es ahora tan manso que se queda a dormir debajo de las camas, allá, donde el sol brilla tanto que no saben hacia dónde girar los girasoles, sí, allá, es el pueblo de Esteban". Fin del cuento "El ahogado más hermoso del mundo". G.G.M.

Thank you very much. I had difficulty finding the story in Spanish in the bookstores near my home. Much appreciation and thanks.

Explanation:
Sorry, yesterday I sent you only the part that appeared in the window..
Now that you have it all, you can ask people to tranlate it from Spanish into the other languages.
Good luck, it seems a very nice job :)

My question is...

Explanation:
Gabriel Garcia Marquez is a latinoamerican writter. So,he writes in Spanish. My questions are, why do you want this writing from English into Spanish, then? Also the last person is asking to translate this passage into other languages. I do not understand what is going on ???

Confused!

Catorce idiomas...

Explanation:
Dear Brigid: I like the idea of translating this text into 14 languages. It might be interesting to know a bit about a project. You may write to me via e-mail: jps2000@cantv.net.
