Explanation:
Debo reconocer que no estoy tan seguro, del significado de "bearing" acá. La cruceta es la pieza (en forma de cruz, con extremos de brazos de forma circular) que unida a dos semiárboles permite la transmisión de par motor entre dos ejes no coincidentes.

Es indudable que soporta a los dos semiárboles, y en este sentido podría ser un "bearing" con "wings", pero lo cierto es que no encuentro la traducción fiable. Lo que sí encontré son imágenes de "wing bearings":

Si es eso, me temo que cruceta es en España. Por lo que veo, al otro lado del charco le llaman "araña".

-Juntas cardan: Están formadas por una cruceta en cuyos brazos van articulados los extremos de una horquilla en que terminan los dos extremos del eje que enlazan, de forma que los ejes sobre los que giran las horquillas son los brazos de la cruceta.

Lo cual despeja las dudas sobre si la cruceta es una pieza o el conjunto.

neutral  Robin Levey: cruceta/araña is a complete 'universal joint' (UJ). Item 5 in your first webref shows a UJ with 2 plain bearings and 2 "winged bearings" (bearings with 'al(et)as').

  -> Have seen others (will try to get the link again) where the "araña" is shown in drawing as a single piece -a PART of the joint
