During the final two years of GT350 production, in 1969 and 1970, the Shelby Mustang was transformed into more of a stylistic exercise, based on the new, larger Mustang.
It was long and wide, with scoops, slots and ancillary curves.
It was a truly imposing footprint, now powered by a 351 cubic inch engine.

Explanation:
A "scoop" is a forward-facing opening in the bodywork that allows air to reach mechanical components that need air for cooling, or for enhanced fuel burning efficiency, usually under slight pressure generated by the movement of the vehicle.
