In fact, I'm working in an english=>portuguese translation, related to the Buenos Aires province. I need to know how this tax is calculated, so I would be able to find a suitable translation to portuguese.
This is the sentence where I found this expression:

In Buenos Aires, we pay 3% direct on gross sales (ie, if your invoice or receipt is of $ 10, the gross tax is $ 0.3. This is paid on a monthly basis. However, not all professionals/activities are included within this tax payment duty.
