English term or phrase: Board of Governors
Hospital board. I use "junta directiva" for Board of Directors. Would there be a better translation for Board of Governors? Perhaps "junta administrativa"?

Spanish translation:Junta de Gobierno (del hospital)
Explanation:
Here is what dictionaries say:
The dicc. Oxford Superlex translates "the school’s board of governors" as "el
consejo directivo del colegio, el consejo escolar".
In a more economical context, the dicc. of Lozano Irueste translates "Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve" as "Junta de Gobernadores de la Reserva Federal".
The dicc. of Alcaraz Varó/Hughes translates "Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve" as "Junta Rectora de la Reserva Federal".

Checking on the Internet I have found another option, which is "junta de gobierno".

As you can see, there are several options for this term, all valid. But after searching these options on the Internet, for the context of a hospital, the most used ones are:

"Consejo de administración (del hospital)" (27 hits)
and "Junta de Gobierno (del hospital)" (21 hits)

Your first option yields more hits: "junta directiva (del hospital)", 43 hits, but if you prefer to use a different term, I would choose "Junta de Gobierno (del hospital)".

Un saludo.

Consejo de Administración

Explanation:
This is another option. Meaning is the same, but al least in Argentina, this is the expression we use. And I have also heard it in some other Spanish speaking countries.

It's funny with so many proposals so far that no one has come up with "Junta de Gobierno" or even "Junta de Gobernadores"...
