English term or phrase: Open ended and closed-end funds
Folks,

Here we go, once again i am stuck with my poor translations.
This is tricky, i've been trying to make it sound spanish but i can't find a proper answer.
Theses products are funds. Open ended and closed ended refers to the way the fund is composed.
Good luck on this one!

Spanish translation:fondos de inversión...
Explanation:
This is what the dicc. of Alcaraz Varó/Hughes has to say about both terms:

As you can see there are several possibilities. If you want to keep it short, I would choose for "fondos de inversión abiertos y cerrados". If you want a more informative translation, you can say, for example, "fondos de inversión de capital y cartera variable, y de capital cerrado y cartera fija"

Un saludo.
