Como fly como verbo significa volar, me inclino por las dos primeras, de las cuales prefiero la segunda

En otro contexto sería aprendiendo sobre la mosca (just kidding).

En Metodología del Aprendizaje se usa para indicar un aprendizaje o educación realizada fuera de un ámbito formal, como podría ser una escuela, una universidad, etc.

Es decir algo que aprendiste por ti mismo, generalmente porque tienes las aptitudes y las inclinaciones hacia un determinado tema y las captas más fácilmente.
