After searching in Altavista for "P&L Account" Explanation: I found a statement on Profits and Losses... so,the P&L Account is the Profit and Loss Account, or, in Spanish, Cuenta de Utilidades y Pérdidas o Cuenta de Ganancias y Pérdidas... your pick, as both are generally understood in Spanish, though Utilidades has a more accounting connotation. Take a look at the site below! Best of luck! Reference: http://www.dbs.com/dbsgroup/investor_relations/profitlost.sh... Reference: http://www.altavista.com |

P&L Statement= Estado de Resultados Explanation: or Estado de Pérdidas y Ganacias. The P & L accounts would be the individual elements that make up the profit & loss statement, such as sales, cost of sales, payroll, general expenses, etc. etc. |

Estado de Resultados Explanation: I suggest you pay special attention to the nationality of the people who will read your translation...if possible The reason is that the translation may vary according to different countries. As an example, the term used in Argentina is Estado de Resultados, but that need not be the most accurate version for your particular requirements. Good luck! |

Estado de Resultados o Estado de Pérdidas y Ganancias Explanation: Depending on the country that will read your translation, either one of the above would be correct. However, both terms would be fully understood in Latinamerica. According to the Diccionario de términos económicos, financieros y comerciales. Enrique Alcaraz Baró y Brian Hughes, 1ª edición, Editorial Ariel S.A., Barcelona, pp 534. It would be Cuenta de Resultados. Good luck Ricardo Martinez de la Torre R. Santiago, Chile |
