"goes out of business"
Mr. Chuck
LA EMPRESA CIERRA
Explanation:
Cerrar is the appropiate verb to use whenever any kind of firm goes out of business.
We cannot talk about quiebra, because QUIEBRA means "bankruptcy" and not all firms shut down or go out of business due to bankruptcy...

se va a la quiebra

Explanation:
Hola. As Andino says there are many possibilities. Apart from his' fine answer, here are a few more for you to choose: "quebrar" (quiebra /se va a la quiebra " = goes bankrupt), "irse a pique" (se va a pique = goes under), "cerrar las puertas" (cierra las puertas = closes shop). Etc. "Irse a la quiebra" would be my pick. Good luck with it :-)

la empresa deja de operar /de realizar transacciones comerciales

Explanation:
Habría que ver si el contexto indica que, efectivamente, está en quiebra. Las operaciones comerciales pueden detenerse antes de llegar a la quiebra.
