English to Spanish translations [PRO] Bus/Financial
English term or phrase:straight through rate
In a document for a Lain American Central Bank I find the term "straight through rate" and then aain, in a table with instructions to determine the cut-off times:
where "repair" refers to the instructions.
Although a translation into Spanish with reference to supporting documentation would be ideal, I would be equally happy to learn the exact meaning of these expressions.
Explanation: I found one site that uses the term. The way I see it, it is not so much a banking term as it is data-processing term. I believe it is a variation on through-put rate, which means the rate of processing speed.
Explanation: I finally found out that "straight through" refers to the data processing. Int his case, it applies to international banking clearance. It is a fairly new expression and banks aare leaving it in English. It means that a processing is followed from one end to the other..
