Si bien encuentro en internet un par de artículos en inglés acerca del "fast close", nunca encontré una traducción para esto. O lo dejaré en inglés??
Gracias! Para peor es una traducción del alemán al inglés, hecho vaya a saberse por quién!
Due to the competitive situation on the international financial markets, the presentation of annual and quarterly figures has to be considerably accelerated. The capital market excepts fast and precise information from the companies. Therefore the management board decided to significantly fasten the closing processes and to emphasise the importance of the interim reporting.
In the concept of capital oriented accounting and reporting the importance of interim reporting as a documentation for separate closing periods increased.
The Steering Committee discussed and decided the realisation of the annual Fast Close and the Hard Quar-terly Closes on May 15, 2001. The long-term goal is to facilitate and ensure the preparation and auditing of the financial statements of the individual companies by January 10 of each year. In order to achieve this acceleration, it is essential that the quality of the year-to-date (interim) financial statements must be improved.
