Explanation:
Se trata de un cierre total de cañería. En el cuerpo central de la válvula está tallado el alojamiento del cierre, en forma de disco, y posee en su interior un disco sujeto al perno del robinete.
Cuando queda el disco perpendicular al alojamiento, permite el paso de fluidos. Al ponerse paralelo, cierra completamente el paso. La forma de mariposa es porque el eje conectado al robinete (manija) es la parte central del disco.
Comercialmente se utiliza esclusa y exclusa.

Me parece que puede ser esto... sobre todo porque justamente las que ponen "with handle" son las que no son "actuated", es decir manipuladas con un motor.
