agree  Hector Aires: o de sobre-presión o de alivio. Surge se interpreta como el crecimiento brusco de algo (un frente escarpado en una onda) en este caso se trata de la sobrepresión por cierre brusco de otra vávula (golpe de ariete). Así lo veo yo.
