Como veo que se trata de quejarse un poco de que una película tenga polvo, rayaduras, vibraciones etc. entonces me parece que el que escribe está tratando de decir que de nada sirve que una buena película te transporte al mundo de la fantasía, si las rayaduras y el polvo y todas esas cosas feas, van a tener el efecto de """sacarte de sopetón (de ese mundo de fantasía)""".
Me parece que ese es el tono del párrafo. Suerte.
