Sin ánimo de plagiar a Robert, basta y sobra "ampliar o reducir la vista", sin más. Tu frase quedaría así:

"Se han añadido nuevos iconos de acceso directo para ampliar o reducir la vista de un documento"

La palabra "zoom" se admite en español, pero no en gerundio, "zooming". También podrías decir "nuevos iconos de acceso directo para el zoom de documentos", aunque desde luego no sería una explicación tan gráfica.
