starch choice opción de carbohidrata Explanation: Actually, in Mexico, "sopas" would cover all the rice & pasta possibilities ("sopa" doesn't necessarily mean "soup" as we know it.) But your text is for U.S. Spanish-speakers isn't it? While "starch" is "almidón", that word isn't commonly used to describe a food group as it is in English; rather "almidón" refers to starch as a _component_ of foods. Even in this sense, it isn't as common and well-known a word as "starch" is in English. |
