English term or phrase:GNP
I'm looking for an "official" reference (a World Bank glossary, IMF glossary, etc.) where it states that GNP can be translated as PIB or PBI. My client changed all my PBIs to PIBs, and I'm trying to indicate that my choice was just fine. Please help!

So it looks like neither term is accurate. As to the difference between PIB/PBI, it may be a question of usage by country. PIB is most definitely the standard term in Spain. :)
