English term or phrase: GNP
Hi.

I'm looking for an "official" reference (a World Bank glossary, IMF glossary, etc.) where it states that GNP can be translated as PIB or PBI. My client changed all my PBIs to PIBs, and I'm trying to indicate that my choice was just fine. Please help!

Thanks
Sandra

PNB

Explanation:
(PNB) GDP equivale a PIB.

PBI and PIB

Explanation:
Both versions are correct but with a simple Google search for PBI there are 89.800 answers instead for PIB the answers are 137.000.

International Monetary Fund glossary gives you another version: PNB (producto nacional bruto):

World Bank Glossary gives the version PIB:

¡Suerte!
