English term or phrase:second Part C BDS examination
I apologize because I just posted a question for BDS alone. But I'm still not sure how to phrase 'the second Part C BDS examination' in a certificate. The whole sentence is:
'In [date], Mr. X passed the second Part C BDS examination'
I'm almost positive that it should be 'el segundo examen de Lic. en Cirugía Dental, Sección A' and it's the second attempt to the examination, not a second part of the whole examination (Parts A, B and C). Can anybody confirm this?
Caliaa, I looked at some BDS programmes and apparently several schools divide Parts A, B and C into two assessments, but I suppose it would all come down to the one issuing the degree. Do you know which country is it?

second part c bds examination
El segundo examen...
Explanation: You are correct. The way you phrased it meant that this person took the exam a second time rather than completing a second portion of one exam.
