"Discapacidad" se suele usar para el inglés "disability"; por eso prefiero utilizar "minusvalía". Asimismo, tanto "mental handicap" como "minusvalía psiquica" están cayendo ligeramente en desuso en favor de otros términos más de moda ("disability" y "discapacidad"), lo que es otra muestra de que "minusvalía" sería una traducción más fiel a las connotaciones del original.
