English term or phrase: Licenciado en CC
I am translating a transcript from Guatemala, and the awarded degree is: "LIC EN CC JURIDICAS Y SOC. ABOGADO Y NOTARIO"

Can anyone give me an explanation for "CC?"

Thanks!

agree  Swatchka: CC stands for the plural of "ciencia"

agree  dcaralo: exactly. Only mention that CC refers to any "science" degree. So "licenciado en cc matemáticas" would be "mathematics science",and so with others, as I suppose the question was actually about "CC" term
