English term or phrase: wire lead
Electrical connection is provided by wire leads with 1/2" NPT or junction box with 1/2 "NPT

If I'm not wrong Lead wire is "hilo conductor". But I guess it is not the sames as "wire lead" which I have found as "extremidad del hilo" Is that correct? Could anyone explain me the difference? Spanish or English, no matter. Thank you all.

Explanation:
Resistors, capacitors, discrete semiconductors, etc. have wire leads to allow their thru-hole installation...

I guess the *lead* name comes from the fact that the wire tips lead the way when installing the component.

The 1st. ref site illustrates this with a picture of a "power transformer with wire leads"

The 2nd one contains: "...Estas válvulas no llevaban socket y sólo tenían terminales de alambre flexible..."

Saludos...

Explanation:

Ref. 1:
... pressure port is 1/4" NPT, 2 feet of wire lead supplied.

Ref. 2:
Wire lead aseembly

Ambas ref. contienen figuras de WIRE LEADS.

=============
LEAD WIRE = alambre/hilo/conductor (principal)
