Engineering (general)
English term or phrase: bypass

Electric tools must have a three wire cord with ground and be plugged into a grounded receptacle, be double insulated, or be powered by a low-voltage isolation transformer.

They must BYPASS any ground-fault circuit interrupters to prevent electrocution hazards_

Never remove the third prong from the plug.

Where used, ground fault circuit interrupters must not be bypassed.

gracias!
