neutral  Silvia Brandon-Pérez: Taxed out of existence indica que por los impuestos, no pueden llevarse a cabo. Es lo contrario de esta interpretación. No se puede separar la frase... es una frase completa, taxed out of existence. Es decir, dejan de existir por los taxes.
