Estas tarjetas se expiden en su mayoría a personas cuyo historial de crédito es dudoso. La persona tiene que depositar cierta cantidad de dinero en una cuenta bancaria y en base a esos fondos se le extiende el crédito correspondiente. (ej. deposita $500.00 = tiene $500 de crédito para usar la tarjeta).
