además de "fondo de cobertura", otra posibilidad para "hedge fund" es fondo de alto riesgo. esta traducción es la que más se suele utilizar cuando se habla de estos fondos y las empresas que los controlan de manera negativa.

en cualquiera de los casos, yo aquí introduciría "especializada en" o "que se especializa en" - me parece que sería la manera más natural que tendría un español de decirlo
