Spanish translation:paleta
Explanation:
En México.

"Until recently, the paleta, a frozen ingot of fresh fruit spiked with a little sugar, occupied the same lonely place in the hearts of Mexican New Yorkers that the Mell-O-Roll holds for native Gothamites of a certain age — that of a Proustian delight whose appeal was compounded by its utter absence. "

'"We missed the parade but that's OK. We're here for the food," Bill declared. After the main course, the Zeithamls and some friends planned on getting some of those frozen fruit bars on a stick - paletas.'
