As a typo, "values" is even less logical than "wolves".

Ask the client or put a note in the text that the word makes no sense: no matter what you come up with, you'll be guessing.

Definitivamente un typo, creo que por "valves", lo cual parece ser congruente con el extracto, por lo de retener información.
