English term or phrase: making good the plaster
The early months of marriage can be spoilt by late nights whilst you try to get the house in order. You rush home from work, grab a bite of tea, do some necessary housework, and then there's a long hard slog stripping walls, ***making good the plaster***, hanging paper, painting and so on. At midnight you fall exhausted into bed. If this continues, sometimes night after night, week after week, it is little wonder that both partners become frustrated and irritable.

acondicionar/reforzar el revoque

Explanation:
Not great English in my opinion, but I think this is the meaning.
