"In these experiments, the enhanced greenhouse effect is simulated by gradually increasing the ***radiative*** forcing equivalent to historical increases in greenhouse gases and sulphate aerosols to 1990 or 2000, then simulating the response to greenhouse gas and aerosol scenarios to 2100 or beyond."

Contexto: Marco de políticas de adaptación al cambio climático del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo.

Esta sección trata sobre la creación de modelos, simulacros y situaciones hipotéticas del clima en el futuro, para desarrollar políticas.

Tengo una confusión con la palabra "radiative". ¿Es sinónimo de "radioactive"? Porque en el DRAE no aparece "radiativo" pero sí "radiactivo" (que, según el Manual del Español Urgente de la Agencia EFE, debe usarse radiActivo y no radiOactivo).

¿Es lo mismo la radiación que la radiactividad?

Tengo una confusión enorme :(

neutral  Marc Figueras: Estoy de acuerdo contigo en que muchas veces "radiativo" es innecesario. En este caso, sin embargo, se refiere al proceso "forzamiento radiativo"; "forzamiento radiante" no me parece adecuado (radiativo=de la radiación, radiante=que radia)
