Hola:

Estoy traduciendo un artículo de The Times, de hace unos añitos ya, y tengo problema con una referencia cultural que no sé cómo traducirla al español. La frase a traducir es: I

t was the day that Little Johnnie Bercow took on the Government and then Nanki-Poo.

Sé que Nanky-Poo es un personaje de una ópera llamada Mikado, de Gilbert y Sullivan, pero no se me ocurre como hacer una equivalencia en español. Any help?
