As David Russi pointed out, \"API is not legal terminology, but rather related to the product\". Precisely: API means Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, the product itself, and its price \"shall be up to 10% higher than the then prevailing market price.\"

  -> I think it does: suppose it's a contract to furnish a certain pharmaceutical product. The payment will be made on the basis of the API (the active pharma ingredient = el "fármaco activo"), not the total product.// See how it made sense?
